With three weeks of exams and a new job starting in less than a week, this last month has been more than a little stressful for me...hence the blog neglect. However, I promise regular scheduled postings will resume shortly. Have a fabulously relaxing weekend!

Loving Colour: Blush Pink
Pink is not my favourite colour. In fact, I have maybe two pink pieces in my wardrobe and I'm pretty sure one of them is an raggedy old sweatshirt. With that said, I am slowly converting to the typically girly colour after seeing all the neutrals and pastels of spring. I find myself lusting this particular shade of blush pink which adds a touch of femininity to any outfit.

Current Obsession: Crofter's Premium Spreads
I am the kind of person who easily and frequently gets food obsessions. I will eat the same breakfast (or lunch, or dinner) for months until one day I get sick of it. Currently, I am obsessing over Crofter's Premium Spreads. These perfectly, and naturally, sweetened jams are perfect spread over peanut butter and an english muffin or with butter on a piece of baguette. Though my favourite thing about these spreads is that they come in several different kinds of common and uncommon fruits like mango, strawberry and pomegranate. This variety will surely keep my obsession going for far longer than necessary.

Cottage by the Sea
Since I was born, I have spent every summer at my family's ocean front cottage. My brother and I would spend our days building sand castles, "farming" hermit crabs and, eventually, trying to get the sand out of our bathing suits. However, since having moved almost a 1000km from home, my summers are now spent in my 3rd floor city apartment longing for the ocean breeze, the sound of the waves and the sand in my bathing suit. Although I love living in the city, our cottage is undoubtedly the thing I miss the most about back home and these beautifully decorated spaces fill my craving for it, if only for a brief moment.

Dogs on Beds
I am a dog person through and through. I love all dogs regardless of size, shape or fur type. Although I am presently without pet, our family dog, Sam, is undoubtedly the king of his castle our house. No place is off limits to him (clearly we trained him well...). Even though I personally am not a big fan of dogs on beds, I thoroughly enjoy the way these puppies make themselves shamelessly comfortable on their human's beds.
