Happy or Sad?

I think this is a good reminder that I should do more things that make me happy.

Yosigo

The minimalism in Spanish photographer Yosigo's photos is completely intriguing. His play on dimensions and emphasis on colour gives his photographs almost a vintage feel. I particularly love the way he captures beach moments. The rainbow of bathing suit colours against the overexposed blue and tan backdrop convey almost the exact same feeling you get when you are actually at the beach.

Versailles, la nuit

I've never heard of a little girl who never dreamed of living in a castle. Straight out of a fairy tale book, the Palace of Versailles would have been the perfect royal residence for any girl's château fantasy to become reality (excluding the whole political revolution, of course!). The candlelight and gold accents of these photos taken in the palace at night make it seem that much more magical.

The Ballerina Project

There is just something about the juxtaposition of the gracefulness of the ballerinas and the hardness of the city that captivates me. I mean, how many people do you know that can hang themselves from a fence so effortlessly or drape themselves over posts so attractively?

You can see more of these beautiful images by Dane Shitagi here, here or here.
