A Night at the Ballet

My friend and I went to see Black Swan last weekend. Being a ballet lover, I was already sold on the film but the styling and costumes blew me away! The story was absolutely enthralling, but the production design done by Thérèse DePerez in tones of black, white, grey and pink gave the movie a simple and classic feel which counter balanced the somewhat complicated storyline perfectly. The costumes however were ethereal. Designed by Rodarte, the tutus made from feathers, tulle and rhinestones were Ba-nanas!
